Shipping Charges:

Shipping charges have become a quandry because of increasing rates. A Priority Mail package that once cost $4.00 now costs $8.00 or more. Add about $2.00+ for the shipping tube and packing material and you can see that we are losing money if we only charge $6.00 for shipping under $50.00. It's not quite that simple since the USPS now uses Zones to calculate rates over 1 pound. Most poster packages weigh between 1 and 2 pounds. The same package going to different destinations now costs varying amounts. We are using an average to try to keep it simple. We also want to continue to use sturdy tubes which are well wrapped. There are cheaper mailing tubes, but shipping damage is more likely with the cheaper tubes and that creates hassles for everyone and unhappy customers.

We regret that we have been forced to raise our shipping charges to cover the new postage costs. Of course, if you buy more posters, the shipping charges do not increase as much!!@@#$@!# Regular shipping charges within the US are as follows: $0.00 to $50.00 = $10.00; $50.01 to $100.00 = $14.00; $100.01 to $200.00 = $20.00; More than $200.00 = $35.00. For all foreign orders, please inquire since the costs varies greatly with the country and means of shipment. Typically, one poster to Europe is $12 to $18 via Air Post.

Send money or sign up for PayPal:

You can sign up for PayPal by going to www.paypal.com. You don't have to set-up a PayPal account to send us money for a poster, but it is a very useful way to send or receive money. Many people like to send an email to orders@milkywayimages.com and tell us what they are ordering and where to ship it, and any other instructions.

How to Order

Send your order by PayPal, by US Mail, or by email. We accept purchase orders from recognized institutions and commercial accounts. Please include a phone # or email where we can confirm your order and contact you if there are any questions. We have an Order Form which you may use, but any format is fine as long as it specifies the quantity and items that you want to include with you order. Also, please include any prefered shipping instructions or delivery requirements. Download our Order Form in Adobe Acrobat .PDF format.

Payment should be made in US funds, with shipping charges included. International orders should first send an email to inquire about the shipping charges since they vary greatly based on the destination and method of shipment. You can use your credit card to purchase our products via PayPal even without a PayPal account. To open a PayPal account or to send money with your credit card, go to www.paypal.com. To order products online, go to the poster you are interested in, or go to the Price List to see all items.

Our PayPal address is payment@milkywayimages.com - Go to www.paypal.com and select "Send Money". This is often the best method for international orders. When you send a check or use PayPal in this manner, you will have to calculate the total amount from the pricing information, and don't forget to include shipping and necessary taxes.

Important word about EMAIL. Email is usually a reliable way to communicate. However, we have found that some people have very agressive spam filters that prevent us from sending an email to them. We have had two instances where people became very angry with us for "not responding to them." In fact, we sent 4 or 5 emails that never made it through their spam filters. You could always include a phone number so we can reach you if necessary. If you expect to hear from us and you don't, please don't assume that we are not trying to communicate.
